Caring Ministries

Ways in which we care for, reach out to, and extend God's love and grace to those in and outside our church family.

Lodgings MissionTrinity Church families have participated for the past several years in a Family to Family program supporting homeless families at Community Lodgings. This local program transitions families from homelessness to independence and stability. Church families adopt a homeless family to provide them such needed household and non-food items as deodorant, toothpaste, detergent, paper products, etc.for one or more months. The church family visits the homeless family and presents them with these needed items. (This approach was initially designed to provide the youngsters at Trinity Church an opportunity to share and participate in giving.)

If you are interested in helping with this project, please contact Erica Orozco of Community Lodgings at 703.549.4407 or eorozco@communitylodgings.org.

Community Lodgings was founded in 1987 by eight area churches and provides support, teaching, training, and empowerment to homeless persons. For more information, please visit http://communitylodgings.homestead.com
