Grace Han

Rev. Grace Han is the Lead Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church.  As the daughter of pastors and missionaries, Grace grew up all over the world, as well as across the U.S. before calling Virginia home.  After receiving her B.A. from Oberlin College in U.S. History, Grace worked as a Community Advocate at KANWIN, a domestic violence agency for Asian Immigrant women.  Grace graduated from Yale Divinity School in 2009 with a Master of Divinity and was ordained in the Virginia Annual Conference of the UMC in June 2017.

Prior to coming to Trinity, Grace was a Pastor at St. Matthew’s UMC in Annandale, VA. She has also served as the Director of Youth Ministries at St. Matthew’s UMC, the Youth Pastor at Newtown UMC in Newtown, CT, and the College Pastor at United Church of Westville in New Haven, CT.

Grace is deeply passionate about what it means to be true disciples of Jesus Christ, including growing deeper in our spiritual formation as well as engaging with our community outside the walls of the church.
Grace and her husband Chris have two awesome children.  Together, they love to go hiking, eat Korean barbecue, and watch Star Wars.
